For this project, we completely removed the conservatory that was attached at the rear of the house to create a ground floor rear extension and a side return extension.

 

The extensions transformed kitchen & dining area as one big open plan space, and created a small study area with a square floated bay window and a partition with two wing sliding doors.

 

2 metre long flat roof skylights and extra large aluminium sliding door enable to bring ample natural light into the interior space.

 

The Ipe (Brazilian walnut) hardwood decking takes a role as a medium space between interior and exterior. And untreated finish of timber surface will be naturally aged by weather and be gradually blended into the garden.
